Just Goodwood on the turf today and in the 16.55 Alaadel was only beaten 4 lengths down in 7th in The Ayr Gold Cup after a slow start and hitting traffic. LTO was run over an inadequate 5f at Ascot so should be sharp and ready for this. Today's two flat cards are virtually solid C1 & C2 through the board leaving just a sole C3 at York to look at as the Cesarewitch and Dewhurst are the stand out races on a high quality day at Newmarket. We hope Eric Alston gets a nice run out of Maid In India in the 16.50 stepped up to a C1 - she won well up Ponty's stiff hill and will probably attempt to make all today under Martin Harley with double digit prices for those looking at a small EW nibble.Read more →
