Channel Packet wins…..advised @10/1

A cracking way to finish off the month with another 10/1 advised winner with CHANNEL PACKET being backed into an acceptable 15/2 🙂

It’s always a bit questionable dropping into apprentices, but Erika Parkinson looked to win with a good bit in hand, after asking the question 2f from home on Mick Appleby’s charge.

Our second selection ran 3rd with P J Mcdonald running a better than wipes yer face price, and a tad more shrapnel, on Michael Wigham’s 15/2 shot, My Target.

For those on the £1k to £10k AW challenge….it’s over 40% win/place strike rate and our bank is now £2561.82 with current stakes £32.02

……..this is what private members received at 8.00am in the morning…….

Today’s Selections

Newcastle 16.45

A sole tracker running in this one is CHANNEL PACKET who was noted LTO. He had the summer off and came back with a distant 3rd to Hadaaf at Chelmsford under this pilot. It was a further decent showing on the second outing, with possibly more expected with Ben Curtis’s booking?

He’s a winner of 60 & 68 at 7f/8f he sits in the middle of that mark and although a bit tenuous, well-weighted against Lukoutmakezbak on some early form with that one being one of the market principals today. That one is having to find another 7 from last winning mark whilst our charge is 2 below last winning mark and additional 5lb claim for the girls.

A higher draw seems favourable and with the pace drawn mid-high, sits in the middle of that so we’d expect Erika Parkinson to be riding near the head of affairs in that group.

Mick Appleby’s charge is on at 10’s across the patch and we’ll take that and the regulation 3 slots with bet 365 this morning.

Newcastle 17.45

A pair of trackers out with Keith Dalgleish’s Red Bond being made the favourite for this one with Callum Rodriguez up top?

He just doesn’t seem the sam pilot coming back off that drug ban and the horse does look better at 10f rather than the 8 so we’ll take one on.

Michael Wigham’s veteran, MY TARGET has come back in decent form and seems to be enjoying his racing. When noted, he bumped into a Hugo Palmer hotpot and ran second. He then followed that up with a decent run behind our winner Torrochica at Lingfield agian under ‘The Bishop’.

However, his best form is at 8f which he drops back to this evening. He won here when beating re-opposing, Little Jo back in November and with PJMc up top should hopefully give this another real go.

There’s plenty of 9’s and 3 slots at present and we’ll take that SkyBet this morning
