It’s just 3 sleeps to go to the ‘big roar’ and we are set ready for our Festival Service budgeting for around 10pts per day which tends to be broken down by potentially a 2pt EW and 1pt EW and some 0.5/0.25pt EW’s for the days racing…….

So….looking at the races we will be getting involved with……..predominantly these are the races that members voted for in our early January Super Yankee…..though that bet got kiboshed slightly with the injuries to Killultagh Vic and Windsor Park.

The races below indicate the ones where we will be having something about…..the ones in ‘italics’we will be avoiding…..unless you come up trumps with any concrete views!!!!

We will be looking to put our scheduled betting races plus ‘stato breakdown’ on the website plus issuing a protected members password for you to review on there from Monday…..

Cheltenham scheduled betting races…..

Day 1

1.30 SkyBet Supreme –  we will be looking to take on Min…..Tombstone was well voted for in our Super Yankee voting.

2.10 Arkle Chase – again looking to take the favourite Douvan – L’Ami Serge won that vote in the Super Yankee bet.

2.50 Ultima Handicap Chase  – Doctor Harper was well supported by you guys

3.30 Champion Hurdle – Annie Power will be opposed and Nicholls Canyon got that vote in the Super Yank

4.10 Mares Hurdle – nothing of interest here

4.50 National Hunt Chase for Amateurs – nothing of interest here

5.30 Novice Handicap Chase – Racing Pulse attracted your support….it’s a race with value with likely favourite going off at around 5’s

Day 2

1.30 Neptune Novices Chase – Bellshill and Tombstone (if opting for this) attracted your attention for value

2.10 RSA Chase – outside of No More Heroes now going too short, it was Seeyouatmidnightand Blaklion that were getting your vote.

2.50 Coral Cup – nothing took your fancy in this one but a wide open race we may have a little 0.5pt EW about something

3.30 Queen Mother Champion Chase – nothing of interest

4.10 Cross Country Chase – nothing of interest

4.50 Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle – again similar comments to the Coral

5.30 Champion Bumper – nothing of interest

Day 3

1.30 JLT Novices Chase – Sizing John and Arzal were your best value picks here

2.10 Pertemps Final – Champagne James was a consideration

2.50 Ryanair Chase – looking to take on Vautour – you said Josses Hill and Al Feroof

3.30 World Hurdle – nothing given to take on Thistlecrack –  No Bet

4.10 Brown Advisory Plate – Sametegal comes into the equation with Irish Cavalier put forward by you

4.50 Mares Novice Hurdle – nothing of interest

5.30 Kim Muir Challenge Cup – plenty of attention attracted by yourselves here and we’ll look to go in that one

Day 4

This may vary depending on how the weeks gone…..hopefully we can go out with a bang if we have something in the coffers!!!!!

1.30 JCB Triumph Hurdle – Ivanovich Gorbatov was a clear vote winner

2.10 County Hurdle – Sternrubin and Starrchitect were considerations

2.50 Albert Bartlett – Long Dog was by far the best voted for on Day 4

3.30 GOLD CUP – rude not to bet and hopefully THE SMAD maybe the one

4.10 FoxHunters Chase – nothing of interest, except VP’s backside….hopefully remaining in the saddle

4.50 Martin Pipe Conditional – Tully East was the only one that attracted a vote!

5.30 Grand Annual – Dandridge & Guitar Pete were considerations
