What a great start to the 2021/2 £1k to £10k Challenge with back to back winning days 🙂
Kieran O’Neill clung on at the death for a pillar to post win on Ivan Furtado’s CRAZY SPIN 🙂 There was plenty of 16’s about early doors, eventually going off at 12/1.
For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1169.98 and current full stakes, unless advised, £14.62 EW
The All Weather bank currently standing at +150 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

With Jason Hart on duty at Chelmsford, Kieran O’Neill comes in for a decent ride with CRAZY SPIN. Looks too high a price in this line up having a decent strike rate from around this mark.
David Simcock has Thomas Lanfiere booked out in a C5 here next week that looks to have made him favourite in today’s lower grade. However, am always willing to take a maiden on who will need good timing off the back at this front running track. The other market leader Disarming also has a bit to do from 4 higher and a poorish draw.
Possibly the price is reflected with his wins coming at Southwell? However from a decent draw like today, was only just caught at the death in 7f race here in Dec 2019. That was the start of a sequence that pushed his mark up to mid 50’s, but back down to just 2 over last winning mark, should be around the slots in this one.
K T O’Neill does the steering who has plenty of experience here and am looking for a pillar to post win from a nice draw.
There’s an across the patch with 16’s and regulation 3 slots this morning.

haven’t quite got the prices but very close, bank £1161-03, what a start.
Appreciate that Martin. I have made a comment to Stephen in today’s forum….obviously the progress report is based on my returns that have been taken at the initial prices quoted. I wouldn’t get het up about to the exact penny. I tend take to the nearest pound or 50p and then move it up incrementally. The chief thinking is that backing 1.25% EW in theory is 40 bets in the bank of £1000. Obviously half stakes is 0.25% EW but I will always quote the full challenge stake in the progress report.
