Friday Racing starts at Newmarket but we have picks across the country on a day with some top class events at Group 1 venues.
13.40 Newmarket….our notebooker, Little Shambles steps up in class after an easy Catterick win and will have it all today in this company and a best EW priced ….Danger will come from the rangy ETAAB who could well land the hat-trick for Willie Haggas, ours is a best priced ew 12/1 with PaddyPower
York 15.30…..GRANDORIO and THE MIGHTY YAR go head to head against a short priced 15/8 favourite in Kings Fete that lacks value in this handicap. With Danny Tudhope opting for David O’Meara’s other charge it would be wise to leave Grandorio alone as he steps up in trip. Lady Cecil’s grey colt looks the one for us at a best priced ew 7/1 with BetFred
Ascot 16.50…..We’ve had pick ups already with SHAOLIN who comes here following a win for us at Kempton. He has a favoured draw today, as proved when we had notable high draw successes at the Royal meeting. Another to consider at the higher end of the draw is TRADER JACK, he was impressive at Sandown recently which could have put him right and has course form here ….Shaolin on offer at a best ew 10/1 with Bet Victor and those fancying even more value, Trader Jack at 20/1 with bet365
Ascot 17.20…..CRYSTAL LAKE’s last outing at Newmarket has been franked since and so looks good value here at a best priced ew 7/1 with BetFred. Big danger will come from the unexposed Baarez and now without headgear, is expected to go well for Roger Varian.
Finally tonight at Chester…..
Chester 20.50……EDDIEMAURICE goes her and off bottom rung warrants respect with his last run on the soft at Pontefract best overlooked. It’s been left to an inexperienced jock up top who takes 5lb off and the featherweight with a reasonable draw who might be some value at a best ew 10/1 with Bet Victor
