Horse Racing Selections – 12th June 2021

There’s more from York for Saturday with some cracking handicap conundrums. With cards from Chester, Bath, Sandown and Leicester there’s enough opportunity for a pair of each way selections.

Another post nicked yesterday as our run racks up – still  a few short of that ‘twentyniner’ we had July/August last year. Massively frustrating all the same even though they come with the territory so we look positively at recovery 🙂

There’s three for today below. With possibly a couple of races to consider at Donny & Salisbury tomorrow will be back on Sunday morning just before 9.00 am.

For those on the 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £994.71 and current full stakes, unless advised, £12.43 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at -1.75pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 41% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

  1. Bol and have a nice weekend

  2. Handytalk is half stakes I think?

  3. Well today’s three fell out the back of the tv

  4. Sorry but I’m losing the will to live!
Getting to the stage where it’s pointless even looking at the selections!
    Today’s three
    20lengths last of 7
    11th of 15
    18th of 19
    !!!!!!

  5. Definetly another day to forget 🙈

  6. We all have losing runs particularly give the prices we are playing at, so we must trust that the tried and tested process will start working in our favour in the near future. Today was a bad day but in the past week or so there have been a number of near misses including last Wednesdays selection beaten a nose. Keep the faith just like we have with the England football team who haven’t won a major tournament since 1966!

    • Ya of course, if we had one or two winnings out of these massive 2nd places we were now in another Situationen. I know there gonna be better times, maybe starting today? 😉😊

    • Yep, never enyojable and generally one a season coming without warning. We had a 29 last season and still achieved workable profits. Thanks for your understanding Adrian amongst the bailers

  7. About the past results yes they are pretty poor to say the least especially when you have to pay,but the point that i want to make on some of the selections and i have made this comment before is the stall draw winning percentage take yesterday at York 17.25 I Am A Dreamer stall had a win rate of 2.1% ,and take the 16.50 Give It Some Teddy stall win rate of 0% , now surely these factors should be taken into account in the choice of selections ,and Gary im not having a go at you as tipping horses is dammed hard.

    • Hi Peter, Thanks for the heads up on the draw no’s. I’m not for taking offence so no problem with this. I do take high/middle/low on the going as a consideration rather than individual slot. Over 9f at York felt Teddy ws up top that form a decent low/mid and as for Dreamer, clearly the far side had the best of it with Harty doing what he does best on the far side. I had expected more pace on the near from our and DT on Coase which clearly didn’t happen. It’s mightily frustrating at the moment but the nature of the game but your comments aren’t lost and worthy of re-focus 🙂
