  1. Good to be back in Blighty after a very hot and humid holiday (40 degrees and 90% humidity at times Arrgh). Looking back this morning it looks like things have been quiet on here. Sad to see Peter go as he had vast knowledge about the game and contributed to the banter on here.
I have said many times this game is not about how you celebrate winners but how you cope with losing runs. There will be plenty of those at the odds Gary operates at.If you have faith in his ability to find winners over a long period then stick with it. If you pull your hair out after a few losers then take up bell ringing because this game is not for you.Better still don’t listen to an old fool like me.I have a broad back so come on lets get the forum going. I know i talk Bo*****ks so tell me so and lets have some fun. Life is too short. Sad to hear about the death of the Queen whilst on my holidays. I am a republican but she was respected all over the world and was a great ambassador for our sport. RIP Ma’am.

    • Welcome back Uan. Glad you enjoyed the break and hopefully your site security prevented you from getting any bets on. Its a funny old game after that cracking July. Hopefully some bunce to come in September before you have your next holiday on the kitty litter. UTM UTC wont be long now 🤣

        • Didn’t take any device with me Gary so no chance of a bet.The Mrs did all the apps etc. Burnley away early Nov on a Weds night, so unless a holiday has been booked behind my back i will be there. Around that time we play Burnley away, Norwich at home and the blades away so an easy nine points there !!!.
This is the static forum isn’t it. More life in a tramps vest. Fox Hill looked a dodge pot to me today. Well away, lost position badly then ran up behind the leaders looking like it was short of room. It wins a few usually early June so might have to wait till next year. Big match for us tonight. A must win against Blackpool because i think they will finish in the bottom six.

    • Hi Ian it looks like i can use the blog which is good, glad you had a good holiday in Mallorca, yes its been hot and sticky for weeks now.

  2. I agree with having a Forum. Gary will need to set something up on his site (if that what he wants to do). The daily comments are OK but disappear after a day so no continuity.

    • Hi Charles, the forum shouldn’t be disappearing. It’s just relevant to the day in question. If you go back days the comments are still there 👍

    • What sort of value do you think a forum would have? IMHO they turn into bloodbaths, especially in this sort of game and in runs like we’re on now, but I could be missing a trick.

Quite frankly, I can imagine the last 2 years to be difficult to contain in a forum – and Ian does offer the good old mindset alignment posts in times of crisis (on the correct days of course).

  3. I think that Charles is suggesting that a static forum would be good?
