Horse Racing Selections – 17th January 2020
There are all-weather horseracing meetings at Lingfield at lunchtime and Newcastle the early evening fixture.
Yesterday saw us land another placed effort with Karen McLintock’s Avenue Of Stars who never really looked like threatening the winner’s enclosure. Also, Klopp managed to get back to winning ways for those following our intro notes lumpers. We’d backed Anthony Brittain’s charge a couple of times and disappointingly we never landed that decent priced win with him 🙁

…..a bit of pin money yesterday and we’re looking at another couple of trackers today 🙂
Lingfield 12.00 Short priced favourite Hadaaf is by no means sure to replicate that LTO win achieved further than 5f and injects some value in the market. Michael Attwater comes double-handed into this with Juanito Chico and REAL ESTATE. The former is capable of a decent priced place himself having been in our summer tracker and a decent Epsom performer where the form is well replicated? However, REAL ESTATE arrives on a treble and despite being stepped up a furlong does have decent showings at the trip. He has won at Wolves and placed 3rd here. Indeed it was a run here when 5th to Beepeecee that he entered the tracker of the same sort of mark. He shouldn’t have any traffic problems coming around the outside and Rab Havlin is a very good pilot around here. We’ll take the best 15/2 with Betfair and regulation 3 paying slots.

Lingfield 15.10 A couple of trackers here with The Bishop up the top of Michael Wigham’s My Target and John Best’s TOROCHICA. The latter still looks relatively unexposed and whilst running poorly over track & trip LTO ran well from an adverse draw for 2nd over Chlemsfords 10f and then lost his whip when challenging for 3rd at Kempton. The last run may have come a bit quick so with a decent break and as one of just two 4yo’s we’ll make a play with Kieran O’Neill a decent booking We make him our second selection today with the best 7/1 with Betfair and an edge enhanced FOUR paying slots.
