Friday’s all weather cards come from Southwell and Wolves.

At Southwell (11.55) there’s a couple of short priced trackers in Lion Tower and Liamba. Preference would be for the latter and Mick Appleby’s charge. He took that one out of David O’Meara’s yard and LTO was a very good showing in 2nd behind Young John who was a warm order. The trainer is expecting a decent winter and Southwell looks the right venue for her.

In the (15.15) Steph Hollinshead’s maiden The Red Witch is one we were on LTO. It’s always a debate backing maidens but this one looks decent EW value stepping back up to the 7f again her and on around 8’s. Looks well drawn high with Josephine Gordon having done it from that position a couple of times for the stable of late.

There’s two selections below in the members and will be back on Saturday morning around 9.00am with Lingfield & Wolves.
