Horse Racing Selections – 19th September 2021

A sole meeting at Hamilton for Sunday.

Just a couple of handicaps up there. However after the deja-vu of last year I’m signing off tipping until the next Ayr Silver Cup……see you next year 🙂

Even the ‘bed wetters’ and ‘fog platters’ didn’t have to worry about prices contracting yesterday!

Seriously though, nothing of note today. Mews House was backed this week and goes again back under Oisin Murphy at lumping prices in the (15.50). The only other tracker out previously being Dandy’s Angel in the (16.20). Upped in trip is not a strong recommendation with John Quinn’s Well Planted looking decent wipes yer face possibilities as the trainers sole entry under Jason Hart.

Back in the morning just before 8.30 am

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1140.66 and current full stakes, unless advised, £14.07 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +65.86 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

  1. Happy with that….
    Regards Terry Southampton

  2. Just perusing the results from last years challenge, I can see you hit some nice results coming out of sept with wins at 17, 9.5 and 12. Fingers crossed we can find a few more of these this September to help align the banks.

Well done on your Winners yesterday Gary and BOL next week 🍀

  3. As you know i like my draw stats, so 16.20 HAMILTON Edgar Allan Poe AND 16.50Liberated Lad Both have very good stall draws 27.54 win% and place of 46% and combined 37% ,These are not recommendations just highlighting them.

  4. Thanks Peter…are you on them

  5. The free hits didn’t make you anything i am afraid Peter. One placed at 4/1!! and one still running. Hope you have been on the ABW selections and not laid them like you advised a few days ago. Forget the draw stats, the form, the algorithms and anything relevant when it comes to ABW selections. Gary has the ear of these mooses and keeps on finding the winners. You have to be patient though.

  6. Good Morning Ian from sunny Spain
    Liberated Lad
Led, faced challenge and ridden 3f out, sustained duel with winner from over 1f out, headed final strides, just denied (op 13/2)
I got 7/1 on this so i did make a small profit on the bet

    • Morning to you in sunny Spain……not too shabby in East Lancs today 🙂

Just want to get your spin on those figures. Traps 4 & 5 seemed to have the best numbers but I suppose the NR dragged Liberated Lad in?

However, I never really buy into those figure in middle distance races and especially sub 10 runner.

      best

      Gary

      • Gary, stall in the last ten years stall 4, 78 races with 5 winners with a strike rate of 6.41
