At Newcastle there’s a really competitive looking Class 5 (18.15). Aside from a hot favourite in Pertemps, there’s Tim Easterby’s Perfect Swiss and Broctune Red who are course specialists. A cracking pace from King Carney should tee it up for one of those closers, plus Star Shield who all like to come from off the pace.
All of those likely to be winning on the AW, however will stick with a single selection from Southwell (17.00) for this evening.
