Horse Racing Selections – 23rd June 2021

There’s mid week action from Carlisle, Salisbury and Bath today.

Features at the former are the Carlisle Bell and Cumberland Plate Handicaps. There’s also the Bell consolation, so with some decent prices on offer in open races will have a look at those two one mile handicaps today.

A tad of shrapnel for the pot with Singe Anglais running up 3rd…..would have been nice to have the Easterby winner 🙂

Back in the morning around 8.30 am.

For those on the 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1084.76 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.56EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +3.1 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 41% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

  1. Don’t know what you guys think but I thought it was a poor ride,he gives it two slaps late on and it runs on.

    • Seemed like a poor ride to me

      • Getting bumped 1.5f out, by the eventual 2nd, and the jockey being too slow in asking the horse for more effort cost us a place at the very least.

        • Hopefully we will get some reward from Teddy soon – definitely well handicapped. Am sure Tim Easterby will find one for him….hopefully at a price 🙂

  2. haha – if only we could do some 2nd place betting 🙈

  3. Still profit on the day
