Horse Racing Selections – 24th June 2022

The week finishes with cards from Donny and Chester with handicaps of note to us.

At Doncaster (13.00), there doesn’t look much to get among the favourites. Last night’s winning trainer, Nigel Tinkler has the ex-Kevin Ryan charge Cottam Lane going. Attractively weighted with Alex Jary taking 7 off.

Danny Tudhope is up top of Hail Sezer and with both of them at lumping odds only see Iain Jardine’s After John threatening the places at a price 🙁

There’s a selection below for each meeting at double digit prices to press.

A nice drifter for those with BOG or taking SP last night with Strangerontheshore. Lacking betting accounts, I was pleased to take the 15.0 paid out by the TOTE 🙂 Can’t be too greedy but would have liked that nice double with Katie Scott’s Elladora a nice priced 12/1 2nd.

Onwards!

  1. A great day for ABW yesterday. My last post was a bit incoherent mainly because i had been quaffing pale ales in the local most of the afternoon/early evening. Acker Bilk on the jukebox(yes it has one) and shouting home a winner and a good place on the tv. Can’t get much better. Oh, then the karaoke started. Time for bed….. My old mate Peter is very quiet. Hope you are ok. Over 30 pts Abw profit, ‘sleepy Les’ with two runners at Newcastle tonight, whats not to like.I know you don’t back ABW selections but still buy the service !!!. However, it would still be nice to hear from you when all things ABW are going well. Perhaps you are wetting the bed and need to get the washing machine on. Still not sure about this bed wetting. Hope ‘Sleepy Les’ delivers for you tonight. UTM and UTC.

    • Hi Ian ,nice to be mentioned in dispatches ,im pleased that ABW is banging in the winners need to keep the bed wetters moist.Yes i see that Les has two out at Gosforth Park both have decent draws my few for the day

And to finish its fiesta time over here so its party ,party, and we have just got back from a couple of days in Almwria ,is a beautiful City and he won promotion to La Liga , we are back in the UK next week for few days so for now happy punting.

  2. You’re up early after quaffing the pale ales….obviously ‘wet the bed’ 🙂 😉

  3. Early!. I had to feed the ferrets, wipe the coal dust from the windows and hang the washing out before 7:30. Yorkshire folk eh. Have a great day Gary. Burnley first up on sky at Huddersfield on Friday 29th July. I will be watching that in the same pub. Can’t wait.

    • 👍🤣

    • Ian is it a proper boozer

      • Yes it sells real ale. It has televisions all over the place with sky,Bt etc.Very few proper boozers in Rotherham Peter. Tap rooms have gone,as have most of the working men’s clubs. A pub now has to cater for sport on tv, or sell food to survive. The one ray of light are micro pubs selling real ale and craft ales. They are a bit pricey though…. You are probably used to the lager and wine where you are. Good luck with your bets. i have punted most of those so let’s hope we both have a good day.

  4. “His last two Donny runs have yielded 12 and 20/1 paying places.”

Only typical he comes last isn’t it 🤣

  5. Les didn’t pull up any trees. Last home, both of them 😢
