A sole card from Windsor this afternoon.

Not a lot of interest with a sole tracker out in Patrick Chamings trained Spanish Star going in the (13.50). Usually oppose 3 yr olds so early in the season but there does look a couple of decent ones here who go. Ours, whilst a consistent placer in this grade, looks in need of a few back. He’s not budged after running in at Leicester last term and following up with 4 placed efforts from 5 runs. Will sit this one out and see how he fairs against the likes of Chipstead, brother to Oxted and the Mick Channon favourite.

It’s been a decent week at the office following that frustrating run with numerous being done on the nod.

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +82 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 43% win/place rate. 

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
