Horse Racing Selections – 2nd September 2021

Thursday’s very underwhelming cards on the turf come from Haydock and Salisbury.

Only a couple of 3 plus paying races with those being a ‘whipless’ apprentices and a middle distance amateurs. The latter have those at Haydock (17.25) contains the sole tracker out Daawy who we have backed three times for a sole place. Gets the assistance of top amateur Simon Walker but on at 3’s, no thanks!

Mentioned the AW yesterday and the William Hill Racing League heads of to Newcastle this evening. A couple their of note being Bringitonboris going in the (19.35) and Mohareb in the (20.05). Both on a decent odds but the former, a dual winner here last term, seems to prefer 8f.

The latter arrives in cracking form but needs to continue the improvement here upped again for the LTO Lingfield 2nd. However, whilst wins have come primarily at Lingfield, ran well when getting squeezed for room here on last showing. Likes to come from off the pace and Newcastle is handy for that. With Decent AW claimer Theodore Ladd up top he looks the best option today for a tad of shrapnel.

A day to leave alone with some better looking cards at Ponty & Haydock tomorrow.

Back in the morning around 8.30 am.

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £966.35 and current full stakes, unless advised, £12.08 EW
