Horse racing from from Thirsk & Sandown this afternoon with a meet up at Hamilton early evening.

Looking at the Hamilton meet, long term members will remember we have had a few touches about Crazy Tornado (and missed one 🙁 ) – he’s out in the (17.55).

It’s definitely his time of year with all his wins/places coming very late July onwards though predominately the latter part of the season. He’s now 2 below his highest winning rating on 51 with the majority of his performances coming 56-63. He’s doubly declared over the next 7 days, potentially out in a 9f back her next Wednesday – it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go close in one of these and on at across the board 14′s maybe worth throwing some small shrapnel at outside of members selections?

Another ‘enigma’ is also out today in the shape of Kenny The Captain, Thirsk (17.45) – he gave us a few decent priced places last term but hasn’t delivered that big price winner that he’s threatened to give us since back end of last summer. Aside from that early season placed 4th has been low key of late but with the pace drawn low with Cardaw Lily & Exchequer, – from trap 1 it’s not inconceivable that he could run a decent double digit priced race – though we know little about Jessica Gilam up top. He still holds an ambitious entry for the Ayr Gold Cup and again, possibly one for some small shrapnel 🙂
