It looks a dire Class 6 card on a wet and windy Halloween to put the spooks up the horses. Hopefully not another horror show and we’ve just one for this evening 🙂

Today running off 61 but only carrying 9-3.

Congratulations on your success David. However, you haven’t really had a 10/1 winner, as you had 2 against the field, your other runner being unplaced. Effective winning odds are therefore more like 4/1.

well I made a profit on the race….put it that way
I think ABW should not just suggest other members tips before the race, but also suggest they show there running totals for the season, let’s say, on a spreadsheet! So everyone can see the true winners and losers.

Hi, thanks. I’m aware of the spreadsheet. It was more a way of making a point to some that a few winners on the day doesn’t equate to long term profit. One of the reasons I subscribe to ABW is because of the transparency and reasoning behind the betting.
I think I agree with you Matt.
I put my selection up as a bit of fun,the result certainly shows I’m not that good at this finding winners game.
I started on the 1st of September and even though October was a shocker I’m still in profit.
It does hurt a little that a lot of profit has gone back in the bookies direction but it is the bookies money that has gone,not mine.
I guess the best thing to do is report back 1st September 2021 and say how things are going.

It is still betting so no one can promise you to be in profit every single month. I started end of September so now I lost a lot of units especially because the second tipster service I am using has also a very bad month. But I calculated kind of 70 units for each service so everything is still finde and I’m confident that they both will become better in November and December and I hope to be in profit with both when it is Christmas time 😊 so good luck to everybody this month 👍🍀
