Horse Racing Selections – 4th April 2022

Monday see racing back on the turf from Redcar and Windsor.

At the former a few we have had our eye on go at lumping odds.

Lol Mullaney trained Merry Secret was backed on the AW for 3rd LTO and goes in the (13.30). Mick Easterby’s Harvest Day goes in the Div 2 of the previous race and our previous winner Cathayensis goes in the (16.53). Grant Tuer’s charge looks progressive enough seeking the 3-timer but is upped 2f in trip.

Over at Windsor, possibly best EW option would be Indian Creak going in the (14.50). A decent record fresh and won back to back races here off virtually and unchanged mark. Mick Channon is generally an early season trainer and his charges have gone well so far.

We’ll keep an early watching brief and have a look at Southwell and Ponty tomorrow.

Congrats to Ian and the Millers doing the business at Wembley yesterday 🙂

  1. Thanks for the kind words re The Millers. It was only the superior fitness and the better substitutes than Sutton had that won the day. We are not playing like a top of the table side and if we don’t improve will not get automatic promotion. It was a great day out though…. The grass flat season begins proper very soon. Come on Gary get in the ear of those elks and get the profits flowing again. Somebody has mentioned Josh Wright’s service on here.A good lad and well worth a look, especially on the real racing (National Hunt).

  2. Nice one Ian, hopefully the wheels wil not come off and a promo push now.

Also good to mention Josh at RTP. With the Grand National on the horizon members can test drive the service for 30 days at https://bit.ly/RTP30Day
