We lost racing at Hamilton to the weather yesterday so it’s straight in with the first day of Haydock’s three day September meeting. Elsewhere, there’s Salisbury and a rare turf meet from Lingfield Park.

Haydock’s opening card is a disappointment with the only 3 paying place handicap being the (16.55) and a Gentleman’s Amateurs 🙁

A sole tracker today out in a 6 runner is Rotherwick, Salisbury (16.40). He’s never won on anything as soft as this for a couple of years and looks susceptible to the unexposed 3yo’s and we’ll look for another opportunity in just a six runner.
