Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase – Cheltenham Day 3
17.30 Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase
The Kim Muir is always a tough betting heat during the Festival with punters advised to look at those horses guaranteed to stay the trip. Four favourites have won this race since 2002 which indicates the fancied horses can do well although we have also seen some bigger priced winners during that time with the bookies normally hoping to make some money back here.
Let’s check the stats and trends for this one….
- Above 10-10 and 135
- Top 3 on at least one of previous 5 runs
- Has run in big fields
- More than 2 handicap wins
- Ran at Cheltenham this season
Preview……..
Doctor Harper was another well voted in your ante-post run up to the festival….now on offer at best 6’s doesn’t seem to appealing in an amateurs race.
Looking to the higher prices…..A GOOD SKIN ran well at Kempton for Paddy Brennan when 2nd to Silvergrove. He’s a front running sort and good jumper who goes on this better ground and at double the price here of the mentioned winner that day looks ok to put in our EW bets.
Either way, we will be looking at him next time out which could possibly be at Aintree.
Finally, THE JOB IS RIGHT ran well enough around this course last November and ater being touted as an Irish National type (fell at 1st!!) but who goes on the drying going, he looks another well priced for one lightly raced this term
Suggested bets….
GOOD SKIN 0.5pt EW @ 25/1 with SkyBet in the Kim Muir
THE JOB IS RIGHT 0.5pt EW @ 25/1 with Bet365 in the Kim Muir
