Kingston Hill on the up for the Derby
Epsom Derby Racing News for Tuesday 3rd June sees the forecast of more rain and the easing ground raises the chances of KINGSTON HILL….

We mentioned here that if the ground eased, Kingston Hill would be worth a good EW shout at and that’s been steadily reflected this week with being backed into a best 10/1 with BetVictor.
According to trainer, Roger Varian, KINGSTON HILL has never been in better form than he is before Saturday’s Investec Epsom Derby.
“We’re all looking forward to the Derby on Saturday as I’ve never had this colt in better form,”Varian said, speaking to the RFO for a trainer file in Tuesday’s edition.
“He was among the best juveniles last year, winning the Racing Post Trophy, and the Derby was always the big target.
“I was happy enough with him going into the 2,000 Guineas but nothing really went right as he missed the break. It was a good run in the circumstances as he clearly needs further than a mile.
“He’s done very well since then and handled the contours of Epsom last week at Breakfast with the Stars, which was encouraging. He’s as fit as possible now, he looks great and has a serious chance.”
Kingston Hill won twice on soft ground, including the Trophy at Doncaster and every forecast we look at says there will be rain on Wednesday, so he must now be in with a serious EW shout?

Brighton 15.40…..Veteran BENNELONG may provide some EW value here. A C&D winner with wins at Kempton shows he enjoys this type of track. With a feather weight and Charlotte Jenner taking a further 7lb off, as the outsider of the pack we can oppose the favourites with a small EW 12/1 with SkyBet.
Ripon 15.55……In a battle of the veteran, OSTEOPATHIC REMEDY has every chance at another nice EW price. He was a close up fourth in the Thirsk Hunt Cup and is off the same weight as when winning here last August and a best 14/1 with PaddyPower.
