Lezardrieux wins….advised @ 10/1

Grant Tuer has had a cracking season, and still in form, won for us with LEZARDRIEUX.

Apprentice Oisin McSweeney has also been one to note with 18 winners/ from 97 rides. Got up in the final strides to win by a neck with hopefully most of you getting the near double digit 10/1 🙂

Three winners in a matter of days has made the challenge look a tad more promising as we approach the halfway stage.

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1128.40 and current full stakes, unless advised, £14.11 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +47.26 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

Haydock 16.35

Overlooking I Am A Dreamer at my peril who looks well treated with Callum Hutchinson taking his allowance. Hopefully more of interest under a reduced burden at the Forthcoming Ayr meet.

LEZARDRIEUX hit form this time last year when noted in the tracker at Ponty. Backed for 2nd on penultimate run, then came out and won at 4’s that unfortunately we didn’t have anything about 🙁

In a decent field handicap this afternoon, should remain competitive at double digit prices. 80+ RPR’s recorded in last two races and Oisin McSweeney gets a 7lb claim to around last seasons 3yo improving ratings, and 5 less than last winning mark.

Over 60% win/place record over the trip in grade makes him of real interest with the enhanced paying places today. The yard have had a cracking season and still remain in form.

There’s plenty of 10’s and FIVE places for a full stakes play this afternoon.
