Joe Fanning Mark Johnston nap

Joe Fanning rides SPECIAL FIGHTER

Our ‘notebooker’ SPECIAL FIGHTER is our in-form trainer Mark Johnston NAP today at Catterick Bridge in the ‘Betfred Exclusive Competitions On Facebook Handicap’.

Yesterday’s selections cracked off a great start to the week with a near 16/1 winning double with PIPER’S NOTE at Ripon and followed that up with CRYSTAL LAKE at Windsor last night.

Not that we back in double’s, we’re strictly single stakes only guys, though looking at some of your returns you’ve been posting up maybe we should!!!!

We still maintain that for a long term betting strategy…..it’s SINGLES only.

We’ve also got our PREMIUM TIMEFORM RACECARD…..for an assist in today’s racing, for the 19.55 at Cork, you can get that card…….HERE

Today’s Racing……

Catterick 15.15…..apologies for the short price on this one but our nap of the day is in form Mark Johnston’s SPECIAL FIGHTER. Last week he hacked up from a front running performance at Beverley over 12f.

With a 6lb penalty, despite no evidence of extended 12f trips in his pedigree, he should still be good enough here at a best priced of just 15/8 with Skybet.

Ffos Las 15.30…..GABRIAL THE DUKE is a tentative pick today from our notebooker’s. However, in just a 5 runner race and based on his early season form, it would be something of a disappointment if he doesn’t get as close as second.

With a best priced 6/1 on offer from bet365, an each way saver is still a viable proposition for a small nibble?

Other racing……

We’ve nothing else going today, but with the FREE TIMEFORM racecard, let’s consider that race down at Cork…..

Cork 19.55…..Without seeing the SP’s at time of writing it’s difficult to offer any inclination on exact prices. The reliable Tarana looks good for place betting though probably not good enough to win.

David Wachman has a couple of entries and it probably worth noting that Wayne Lordan has opted for Leaf who looks to be a progressive sort and should be thereabouts?

However we’ll just side with Dermot Weld’s EDELMIRA who was eased down when beaten over 12f last time out but still looks an improving sort.

The trainer and jockey form looks sound and as ever a best priced SP that should be around the 10/1 mark can be found with Bet Butler.
