MR MIX is well regarded by Paul Nichols and ran Yala Enki a close 2nd at Ascot LTO. Both finished well clear of Aloomomo and it was a fast recorded time.

He has improved on each of his runs and although this represents a step up is clearly going in the right direction.

Gordon Elliot’s WEST END STAR is another with ‘late teens’ value who has come on since his switch from the McCain yard. He has quickly lost his maiden tag and was a close up 2nd at Clonmel LTO. Elliot has targeted this race since that last run and though Jack Kennedy opts for his number one charge, Squoateur, he looks one with some value against the 4/1 favourite.
