Midweek racing comes from Brighton
Today’s midweek racing news sees another quiet day in terms of our ‘notebook’ horses, so we’ll offer just one selection……….plus some more news about the Scoop6, check it out….
Yesterday saw us add another two selections to the ‘notebook’ and VAN PERCY, one of our 12 to follow was withdrawn from the Great Metropolitan at Epsom yesterday.
Today’s selection…..
17.55 Brighton……….BLOODSWEATANDTEARS was squeezed for room and eased down soon after, when running on the polytrack at Kempton last time out. Right at the bottom of the handicap, Michael Murphy gets another 3lb off and should be good EW value at a best price of 13/2 with SkyBet with just 5’s elsewhere!
Latest selections results….
We’ve just had one outing from one of our 12 flat horses to follow with Van Percy winning at the first time of asking……he was declared yesterday but was withdrawn.
Our ‘notebook performance’ horses have had two outings with a 25/1 place with Lincoln winner Ocean Tempest last weekend and Rudi Five One putting up a good effort to finish 5th at Newmarket last week in a real hot race with Derby entry Cloudscape coming out on top.

Other news…..
NEXT weekend the biggest ever Scoop6 win dividend will be up for grabs and with the win fund already sitting at £1,528,248, and with £1,533,528 in the bonus pot, Betfred expect the combined pool to exceed £4 million as the bet rolled over for the eighth consecutive week.
The £3,061,776 rollover, the fourth largest in Scoop6 history, came after just four legs on a day when big-priced winners stumped punters. The £1.5m bet into the fund on Saturday took the win dividend to within £14,000 of the highest ever total, but did not provide a single winning ticket.
“We were 4-6 that the Scoop6 was won this Saturday and incredibly once again it rolled after just four legs,” said Totepool spokesperman Mark Pearson. “Turnover was massive at £1,585,098 and next weekend the combined win and bonus funds will go over £4m.
“If it eludes the punters again it would be a record rollover in the bet’s fifteen year history. We could even end up with record combined funds which was in November 2008 when it hit £4.5m. The Scoop6 has once again caught the public’s imagination.”
Get on the Scoop 6 with Betfred who are also offering all new mobile customers a free £10 Sports bet. Once players have used their free £10 bet, they will also be entitled to a £25 Matched Bet.
