Graham Lee provided us a very welcome winner with Whatwouldyouknow at Redcar yesterday…added to Citron Major’s place was some very welcome overdue return ? a very welcome winner.

Today there’s meetings from Ayr, Beverley and Windsor with a whole host of lower grade handicaps on the cards.

At the former, Linda Perratt has our former winner, Chinese Spirit back out in the (16.10) at lumping odds. He’s run solidly in two races since that win when upped in grade chasing home course specialist Redarna at Carlisle. Back down in C6 should remain competitive off this mark. Looking for any EW opportunity, perhaps Grant Tuer’s Mywayistheonlyway offers that around 10’s if he can back up that penultimate run over this C&D when 2nd, albeit would like it faster than this?
