Poet’s Dawn wins….advised @ 15/2

A cracking way to finish the month with David Allan doing it from the front again as we’d hoped on POET’S DAWN for a comfortable 3 length win 🙂

It was much as he’d done on Garden Oasis a few weeks back and no catching him when he kicked on at the furlong marker. Happy to say most of you got around 7’s which was the opening course price before being seriously backed into 7/2.

For those on the £1k to £10k seasonal challenge its currently over a 45% win/place rate and our bank is £2071.30 with an ROI of over 30% and current stakes £25.89 EW

Today’s Selections

Ripon 14.20

There’s not a lot of EW value looking at the circa 10 runner fields today, so will be content with one on around better than wipes yer face 5’s.

It’s last year since we were on POETS DAWN when winning at York and has gone winless since. Despite being relatively unproven over the 10, he got the 9 that day and did run Coolagh Forest a close 2nd over this trip late season of 84 with a good yardstick, Give It Some Teddy back in 4th.

He’s now dropped back to that more manageable and last winning mark of 78 and sent off hard in his last two races should be primed.

I would expect David Allan to take him along very close to the head of affairs here and may catch a few of these napping if getting a soft lead on a track where it’s difficult to come off the pace.

There’s 15/2 with Hills & Victor this morning with the regulation 3 slots.
