Premier League Golden Boot Hot Shots 2014/2015

Premier League Golden Boot Contenders

Can be ‘ignawed’ this season…..

Today we consider some of the Premier Leagues Golden Boot contenders and give you YOUR chance to vote in our poll.

The Golden Boot being a strikers targeted accolade, the absence of  ‘Cunt Dracula’ Suarez makes this seasons race more wide open and with some very good betting opportunities.

Robin Van Persie setback

Robin Van Persie

RVP struggled last season following his first season United success after he had won it for two consecutive seasons with his 2011/12 win with the Gooners.

Is age catching up with him? Judging on his World Cup exploits under his new boss and National coach Louis Van Gal, he has now been installed as the bookies favourite after his Bronze medal with the Dutch in Brazil.

It maybe the case that the focus of Premier league success with no Euro action for the Red Devils means that he will be fully focussed.

lol

Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge was exceptional last season with his SAS  partnership with Suarez propelling Liverpool to within a ‘slip’ of the title. Sturridge is young,  pacey and a clinical finisher and will come back better after his World Cup campaign.

Hopefully he will establish a connection and feed off Rickie Lambert…..let’s hope last season’s heartbreaking finale doesn’t turn them from SAS to LOL?

diego costa

Diego Costa

Diego Costa scored 34 goals with Athletico Madrid last season which has prompted Chelsea to fork out around £34m. Whether he hits the ground running remains to be seen, but with the addition of a world class playmaker in Cesc Fabregas, it may just help him start finding the back of the onion bag.

Mourinho’s side lacked fire-power all season and Costa is the man they will build their attack around with anyone of last season’s miss firing misfits, Torres, Demba Ba and Eto’o

Best priced and a FREE £25 matched bet with BetButler take Diego Costa at a best 15/2 to win the Premier League Golden Boot……BET NOW

Edin Dzeko

Edin Dzeko

With 29 goals in 55 games last season and 16 in the League, he often came from the bench at crucial times as City won the league title for the second time in three seasons.

Comparable to the German Miroslav Klose, he is strong and good in the air notching many from close range opportunities, he will be confident in a successful team that he can go close in this season’s Golden Boot.

Best priced and a FREE £50 matched bet with Betfair take Edin Dzeko at a best 18/1 to win the Premier League Golden Boot……BET NOW

Sergio Aguero Golden Boot contender

Sergio Agüero

Dzeko’s strike partner was plagued a few injuries last season but was a matchwinner when fit. Making 16 less appearances than Dzeko he only finished one behind the big Bosnian with 28 goals in all competitions.

If he gets more games, then is a serious contender to add the golden boot to his collection?

Best priced and a FREE £200 in matched bets with bet365 take Sergio Aguero at a best 11/2 to win the Premier League Golden Boot……BET NOW

So what about our selection and a ‘livewire’ outsider for some value?

lukaku Golden Boot hot shot

Romelu Lukaku

Everton’s £28 million investment will be vindicated by a return like last season and the fact that he has scored more Premier League goals than anyone excepting Suarez and RVP over the past two years.

Lukaku has never had a mediocre return, scoring at least 15 times in four seasons. Chelsea sat him on the bench, but once out on loan proved his worth with 17 goals in 20 starts at West Brom and15 in 29 at Everton.

Now with stability and a manager who will guarantee him a starting place we think this is the best value bet on offer….

Recommended Bet: Romelu Lukaku to be one of the Premier League’s top four scorers @ 11/2
