Another cracking front running display from Silvestre De Sousa landed on our sole selection. It was a procession at the finish with a near 6 length win for the ex-Listed runner who looks well on the way back.
For those on the new 2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is at £1106.79 with current full stakes at £13.84 EW with over a 50% win/place rate.
The 2022 Turf bank stands at +23.7 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 50% win/place rate.
The 2021/22 All Weather ended at -96.80 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a with over a 27% win/place rate win/place rate.

Chester 15.40
It didn’t take much rain in the back of a dry April to turn the going to soft yesterday.
That may help some of the AW types and opting with a lightly raced sort here in PRIDE OF AMERICA.
Hacked up at Wolves as 2yo novice and highly thought of to contest a the Listed Derby Trail at Lingfield. Went backwards in 2020 but now looks back to form and drops a grade today.
Has come back well off the back of wind surgery and stable change. After missing 2021 now looks back in form. A win up the stiff Gosforth hill and a similar climb for 2nd at Ponty on seasonal turf outing should see him right.
Coincidentally finished behind Baryshnikov at Ponty LTO who won this race last year. SDS gave us a nice winner last week and looks the best of his 3 rides today.
Hopefully will sit in behind Desert Emperor likely to be up there from the off from trap 1 and not try to force the issue as LTO at Ponty.
It’s a tad measly at a best 6’s and 4 slots this morning to record. Hills, Betway and Skybet can grab an extra 5th place.
