For since he went to Cheltenham in January and beat Paul Nicholls’ Rocky Creek in the Argento Chase, hopes have been high.

Nor is that the first time he’s run well at the track for in last year’s Gold Cup he finished a battling fourth behind this year’s one-to-beat, Bobs Worth.
His part owner Simon Hunt believes he’s a top each-way punt for the race again this season.
He said: “He’s in real good order and he came out of the Argento well. The trainer David Bridgwater is a bit of a wizard with his horses and we are looking for a big run from Bolster.
“He did a super job with the horse – gave him a change of headgear and it all came together for him on Argento day – it was brilliant.
“I was absolutely made up for the horse and the entire team who prepared him so now we try for the big one. He keeps getting written off and we keep getting nice prices on the each way market and he’s not out of it.
“Bobs Worth is the one to beat, but if our lad is there towards the end as they approach that hill, he could well be in the mix.”
