Preview……..
THISTLECRACK…….quite simply looks the lumper of the meeting and well done all those members who have been taking double digit odds down to today’s best 5/4. However, there’s a massive offer of get 14/1 about the favourite for those without a current Betfair account via the offer above!!!!!
As ever we look for value and just go with the one who comes in on the back of those ‘potential game changing wind operations’.
It’s not been kept a secret by trainer Paul Nichols, but SAPHIR DU RHEU finished a close second in this race a year ago to Cole Harden.
Last year he also won the Cleeve Hurdle and was seriously impressive in winning the Mildmay Chase at Aintree following the festival last year. He’s one who loves this type of drying surface and is bound to run well in the race again.
Suggested bets….
