Saturday Racing News: 3rd May 2014
We’ve had a profitable week so far with our EW recommendations with only two finishing out of the frame. Let’s hope for a good finish to the week if you include any of the selections in your singles or multiple bets today?
This weeks results…..
Today see’s four of our carry overs from last season going with one of this seasons ‘notebook’ horses and Derby advice PINZOLO going from our 12 to follow, we’ll give a view on their chances…….
14.05 Newmarket.….the opening race sees NICEOFYOUTOTELLME go over 9f. This trip is a bit sharp as he’s done his winning over 10 – 12f so this isn’t for us as a major punt, although will be a big price for those wanting a tentative EW at a best price 12/1 with BetButler.
14.20 Goodwood.….TOPTEMPO looks completely outclassed in this at an early bird best price 33/1 with SkyBet so we’ll take another rain check and wait for a more suitable race.
14.40 Newmarket…….SOLEPOWER was last year’s King’s Stand Stakes winner and sets the standard in this Group 3 contest in which he won last year. Wintered and fit from running in Dubai, he can go close again today at early bird best price 4/1 with SkyBet
15.50 Newmarket……SHIFTING POWER remains unbeaten and steps up to 1m for this years 2000 Guineas. Friendless in the market, Richard Hannon’s colt is a monster best price 40/1 with SkyBet we think Frankie may just pinch a place?
17.00 Newmarket……PINZOLO is our outside bet for the Derby. Whilst not hndling the testing conditions in the Racing Post Trophy, he had looked very promising when winning both his starts previously. He is bred to be a much better 3yo than 2yo and maybe good EW value today at a best price 7/1 with BetButler.
17.15 Doncaster…….FORCED FAMILY FUN was impressive last time out and won easing down. With that advantage of a run under his belt he should go close again today at a best price 3/1 with SkyBet

Other news….. NEXT weekend the biggest ever Scoop6 win dividend will be up for grabs and with the win fund already exceeding £4 million as the bet rolled over for the ninth consecutive week.
“If it eludes the punters again it would be a record rollover in the bet’s fifteen year history. We could even end up with record combined funds which was in November 2008 when it hit £4.5m.
The Scoop6 has once again caught the public’s imagination.”
