Scoop6 Rollover
Some amazing news about the Scoop6 ….check it out….
NEXT weekend the biggest ever Scoop6 win dividend will be up for grabs and with the win fund already sitting at £1,528,248, and with £1,533,528 in the bonus pot, Betfred expect the combined pool to exceed £4 million as the bet rolled over for the eighth consecutive week.
The £3,061,776 rollover, the fourth largest in Scoop6 history, came after just four legs on a day when big-priced winners stumped punters. The £1.5m bet into the fund on Saturday took the win dividend to within £14,000 of the highest ever total, but did not provide a single winning ticket.
“We were 4-6 that the Scoop6 was won this Saturday and incredibly once again it rolled after just four legs,” said Totepool spokesperman Mark Pearson. “Turnover was massive at £1,585,098 and next weekend the combined win and bonus funds will go over £4m.
“If it eludes the punters again it would be a record rollover in the bet’s fifteen year history. We could even end up with record combined funds which was in November 2008 when it hit £4.5m. The Scoop6 has once again caught the public’s imagination.”
The rollover was caused by a day of shocks, starting with the Sue Smith-trained 16-1 shot No Planning in the very first leg at Haydock, who decimated the massive pool leaving just 12,851 tickets remaining.
Karl Burke’s Georgian Bay, who at 11-2 was the shortest priced winner in the Scoop6 while the bet was still alive, landed leg two at Kempton and only 1,948 going into the 17-runner handicap hurdle at Haydock, which was won by 9-1 chance Carlton Jack for Jonjo O’Neill.
That left a meagre 112 units hoping to survive Haydock’s 19-runner handicap chase, but victory went the way of the Nicky Richards-trained Streams Of Whiskey, who was 18-1 with bookmakers and one of six runners not selected by a single punter, meaning the bet went down with two legs still remaining.
There were 536 winners of the place dividend, who picked up £591.40 each.

How do I increase my chances?
The simple answer is to include more horses! A £2 line, the minimum stake permitted, allows you to choose one horse in each of the six races. However, you can have more than one horse in each race and this strategy significantly enhances your chances of success.
Unsurprisingly it becomes more expensive, but the cost is easy to work out: simply multiply the number of selections in each race.
For example, selecting 1 horse in the first 4 races, but 2 in the final couple of races would cost you £8. Here’s how it is worked out:
1x1x1x1x2x2=4 4 lines x the minimum £2 unit stake comes in at £8.
Choosing 2 horses in every race would cost £128. 2x2x2x2x2x2= 64 64x£2= £128
How else can I improve my chances?
