RON’S DREAM wins @ 15/2

Amazingly we are not renown ‘Saturday tipper’s but our weekend selections since Christmas have yielded, 9 winners, 5 places and just 7 losers from 21 bets:

9 winners at advised prices…..Vado Forte 14/1; Wakanda 8/1; Kalashnikov 12/1;  Kelpies Myth 11/1; Jenny’s Surprise 8/1; Global Citizen 8/1; Sam’s Gunner 16/1, Thomas Patrick 5/1 and today……RON’S DREAM 15/2.

….plus 5 places – all at ‘wipes yer face’ ew prices, and 7 unplaced.

That’s makes nice reading as the NH is winding up for us and hopefully we’ll enjoy another tilt at our 3rd £1k to £10k in 4 years backing 1.25% EW of the variable bank.

Haydock 17.00

As mentioned above, Michael Scudamore’s Two Smokin Barrels gave us a nice winner LTO and can still be effective but is yet to win above C3 and is closely matched with Tara Mist to that account.

Another to win out of C3 is Song Saa who only looks to go well in small fields and we are drawn more to Peter Bowen’s former mid 140’s hurdler RON’S DREAM who is the only ‘class’ winner in the field and could still be well in with a chase rating of 130.

Last year she ran 8th against Apple’s Jade at the festival and despite the recent rain, Haydock isn’t going any worse than the soft ground she enjoys. She’s been a model of consistency and was only outpaced last week on the run in by Don McCain’s Same Circus conceding a bundle of weight.

In an 12 runner where some of the supposed ‘class horses’ at the top of the handicap not doing it in this grade we’ll take the best 15/2 with Betfair for a Tap Tap Boom to hopefully end the afternoon

We’ll be back in the morning around 8.00am
