After hitting the bar a few times this week REDROSEZORRO was a massive gamble that we were on and he absolutely sluiced up with Theodore Ladd giving a ‘Jason Hart-esque‘ performance on Eric Alston’s charge. We advised at 12’s this morning but there was an option for 9’s with four paying that most of you took but even that disappeared mid-morning ending up at 7/2 joint favourite! That’s pushed us to nearly £3,300 on our £1k to £10k and it’s now game on during the last couple of months of the flat to at least get through £5k.

Only Hamilton today and this weeks near miss Carnageo is back out quickly again (15.05) but no value to of us and only for the very serious lumpers at around 4/7!!! There’s only one pace setter in this and it’s not without reason that David Allan on Alliteration could make all and upset this bunch as the outsider of the pack?

We’re taking a sole charge at Hamilton today that looks well capable of finding the winners enclosure at a big price and that’s in the members selection below.

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….our bank has NOW grown by over 230% with an ROI of over 30%….current stakes are now £41.14 EW.

2.00 Watch Race Replays At racinguk.com Handicap (6) 6f6y

Timeform Top Rated:
79 6. FOOTSTEPSINTIME J. F. Levins S. B. Kirrane (7)
78 2. TWILIGHT Tim Easterby David Allan
77 4. INVINSIBLE Keith Henry Clarke Shane Gray

Analyst’s Verdict:
Irish-raider Footstepsintime possibly needed the run after 4 months off at Naas and is on a fair mark. Twilight is generally a progressive filly and is feared most having possibly found her latest run coming too soon.

2.30 Jonathan Letham Memorial Handicap (6) 1m68y

Timeform Top Rated:
83 5. EDGAR ALLAN POE Rebecca Bastiman Daniel Tudhope
81 2. LESS OF THAT J. J. Feane C. J. McGovern (3)
81 7. MILITARY HILL Adrian McGuinness Robbie Downey

Analyst’s Verdict:
Edgar Allan Poe returned to form when runner-up at Carlisle 17 days ago, and from the same mark, he’s poised to go one better (3 lb below last successful mark). Ireland are well represented, with Military Hill and Less of That perhaps the pick of them.

3.05 ‘Hopes N Dreams’ Selling Stakes (4) 1m1f35y

Timeform Top Rated:
103 2. CARNAGEO Richard Fahey Paul Hanagan
95 6. WHAT WONDERS WEAVE R. J. Osborne R. P. Whelan
85 5. ROSEMAY R. Mike Smith James Sullivan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Carnageo arrives on the back of a good second at Ayr on Thursday and should prove hard to beat on these terms. What Wonders Weave can follow him home.

3.35 Always Trying Novice Stakes (5) 1m68y

Timeform Top Rated:
85p 1. JAMIL Roger Varian David Egan
79p 6. NEVER BE ENOUGH Keith Dalgleish Tom Eaves
72p 4. CLOUDLAM William Haggas Paul Hanagan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Jamil is difficult to oppose after finding only a useful prospect too strong after 11 months off at Carlisle recently. Cloudlam’s debut effort has been boosted and she could be the one to follow the selection home.

4.10 EBF Stallions Scottish Premier Series Fillies’ Handicap (4) 1m68y

Timeform Top Rated:
98 6. SEDUCE ME K. R. Burke Ben Curtis
96 8. FOREVER A LADY Keith Dalgleish Andrew Mullen
94 1. PATTIE Mick Channon Franny Norton

Analyst’s Verdict:
Seduce Me hasn’t been showing much but her mark has come down 15 lb since the start of the season and it’s worth taking a chance that a combination of a return to her favoured testing ground and a change of headgear sparks a revival. Whatsthemessage had some good winning form in the mud here last season and arrives on the back a decent third last time. The reliable Kalagia is also shortlisted.

4.40 Racing UK Profits Returned To Racing Handicap (6) 1½m15y

Timeform Top Rated:
78 1. CALLIOPE Kenneth Slack James Sullivan
77 5. LAST GARRISON Mark McNiff Paul Hanagan
76 11. TORTHAI AN GHRA Adrian McGuinness David Egan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Calliope can usually be relied upon to run her race and she appeals as the most solid option. Princess Nearco and Last Garrison would be threats if putting their best foot forward.

5.10 Racing UK HD On Sky 432 Handicap (5) 1½m15y

Timeform Top Rated:
93 3. SOLDIER TO FOLLOW Andrew Balding Graham Lee
92 7. PAMMI Jim Goldie Jamie Gormley (3)
89 6. LIARS CORNER John McConnell Paul Hanagan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Plenty in with a shout but Soldier To Follow did catch the eye when travelling powerfully for a long way at Newbury last time and is well worth siding with having been dropped a further 2 lb since. Pammi was only narrowly denied off this mark at Ayr earlier in the week and rates an obvious danger for Jim Goldie. The hat-trick seeking Pentland Hills is also much respected.
