Liam’s Sunday 6-Timer
Aston Villa v Man City (13.30)
This is the start of a new chapter for Villa, who made the bold move to ignore the opinion of many that Premier League experience was a must in a new manager to appoint Remi Garde.
The new boss has already stated that he won’t show favouritism to any players in the squad, French or otherwise, but a number of the summer signings left out in recent weeks could return.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have coped relatively well in the absence of both Silva and Aguero for the first time so should have too much for the hosts, whose fans will just want to see a stronger performance given their heavy underdog status.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (16.00)
The Liverpool players are beginning to adapt to Jurgen Klopp’s pressing game and just fancy them to nick another win here.
Liverpool won five and lost none of the first seven Premier League meetings with Palace, but The Eagles have won three and lost just one of the last five.
Crystal Palace have scored three goals in each of their last three Barclays Premier League meetings with Liverpool and will have felt aggrieved not to have beaten Manchester United last weekend.
They’ve had a full week to prepare for this fixture and the return of Connor Wickham should give them a greater presence up front.
The Eagles did the double over Liverpool last season and should notch to make this a BTTS game.

Arsenal v Spurs (16.00)
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back quickly following their 5-1 defeat to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on Wednesday and reaffirm their title credentials at the expense of their north London rivals.
The Gunners are unbeaten in each of their last five home competitive meetings with Spurs, winning four.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently on a 10-game unbeaten run, the longest of its kind in the Premier League. Back-to-back league wins over lowly Bournemouth and Aston Villa will have boosted confidence ahead of the North London Derby as they look to put themselves within touching distance of their rivals.
Both teams will be wary of one another and this has all the makings over a low-scoring draw and another BTTS- YES
BTTS Yes @ 4/6 with BoyleSports
Ross County v Celtic (15.30)
Celtic appear to have found consistency with four consecutive league wins establishing a six-point lead in the Premiership.
However, it’s the similarity and frequency of goals that Celtic concede that’s causing most consternation. Less so domestically than in Europe, but even against Aberdeen last weekend, there were one or two moments that the visitors might have seized on.
It’s should be another for a BTTS but will settle for just a straight Celtic victory in both halves
Celtic HT/FT @ 10/11 with BoyleSports
Port Vale v Maidenhead (15.00)
Port Vale striker Uche Ikpeazu returns to contention following suspension for the FA Cup first round tie at home to National League South side Maidenhead, whilst Maidenhead boss Alan Devonshire can select from a fully-fit squad.
The former England international will take his National League South side to Vale Park in a rich run of form, having won all their past six matches scoring 16 goals in the process.
They stand 60 places lower in the English football pyramid below Vale, who are 15th in League One having won for the first time in six matches last weekend.
With Vale having won their last three meetings with non-league opposition and their last four home FA Cup games producing 20 goals it should be a regulation over 1.5 goals.
Over 1.5 @ 1/2 with BoyleSports
Aldershot v Bradford City (15.00)
National League side Aldershot hope defender Jack Saville will recover from his wrist injury, but he could wear a protective cast to play, whilst midfielder Jake Gallagher remains out because of suspension for the Shots.
Bradford have lost four of their last five visits to Aldershot, though did win there in their most recent trip in November 2012.
The Bantams went all the way to the sixth round last season, knocking out Chelsea and Sunderland. It was their best performance in the competition since 1976 and should be too good today
