12.40 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Paddy Mullins Mares Handicap Hurdle (Grade B) 2¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
147 17. HIDDEN DILEMMA Stuart Crawford A. E. Lynch
146p 8. COURT MAID Thomas Mullins D. J. Mullins
145 11. COUNTESS CATHLEEN Denis Hickey Jonathan Moore

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sinoria won in the manner of a useful prospect at Down Royal and could be a fair bit better than her opening mark suggests. Cut The Mustard and Court Maid arrive in good form, with Sassy Diva another likely to go well in this sort of scenario.

1.15 Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 1) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
155p 2. COEUR SUBLIME Gordon Elliott Davy Russell
154 1. CHIEF JUSTICE Gordon Elliott Denis O’Regan
149p 4. GARDENS OF BABYLON Joseph Patrick O’Brien Barry Geraghty

Analyst’s Verdict:
It could be worth keeping the faith with Coeur Sublime, who would have resumed winning ways but for crashing out late in a Grade 2 here over Christmas. He’ll go on improving if none the worse after that. Sir Erec and Tiger Tap Tap, first and second in a good event at the same meeting, are big players, as are Surin and Gardens of Babylon, the score standing at 1-1 between them.

1.50 Chanelle Pharma Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
153 1. ARAMON W. P. Mullins P. Townend
152 3. TRIPLICATE Joseph Patrick O’Brien Barry Geraghty
149p 8. KLASSICAL DREAM W. P. Mullins R. Walsh

Analyst’s Verdict:
Aramon is taken to follow up his Grade 1 success over C&D in December, where he showed a smart turn of foot to leave the others trailing in his wake after the last. Klassical Dream and Vision d’Honneur are a couple of very interesting dangers.

2.25 William Fry Handicap Hurdle (Grade B) 3m

Timeform Top Rated:
156 13. JIMMY BREEKIE Stuart Crawford P. E. Corbett (3)
154p 3. CUNEO Henry de Bromhead Rachael Blackmore
153 12. MARY FRANCES Martin Hassett Roger Loughran

Analyst’s Verdict:
Cuneo still showed signs of his inexperience when taking a big-field handicap here over Christmas so it’s highly likely there’s more in the locker and he’s taken to defy a rise in the weights. Fellow Gigginstown runner Dallas des Pictons is another lightly-raced hurdler who is open to further progress. Jimmy Breekie and Pleasure Dome are others to consider.

3.00 Flogas Novice Chase (Grade 1) 2m5f

Timeform Top Rated:
167p 7. WINTER ESCAPE Aidan Anthony Howard M. P. Walsh
165p 1. DELTA WORK Gordon Elliott Davy Russell
164p 8. LA BAGUE AU ROI Warren Greatrex Richard Johnson

Analyst’s Verdict:
Winter Escape produced one of the best performances in novice chases on either side of the Irish Sea all season at Punchestown last month, and should take the step into Grade 1 company in his stride on that evidence. Delta Work and La Bague Au Roi are the obvious threats, though Hardline shouldn’t be ignored either after lowering the colours of the highly-regarded Getabird last time.

3.35 Unibet Irish Gold Cup (Grade 1) 3m

Timeform Top Rated:
177 9. ROAD TO RESPECT Noel Meade Sean Flanagan
176+ 1. AL BOUM PHOTO W. P. Mullins P. Townend
175 2. ANIBALE FLY A. J. Martin Barry Geraghty

Analyst’s Verdict:
Al Boum Photo won in the style of a top-class chaser on his Tramore reappearance last month and there remains an element of untapped potential about him, particularly over this sort of trip. He can land his biggest prize to date. Road To Respect did really well to make the frame (after suffering a few mishaps) here over Christmas and rates the chief danger, whist Bellshill is also of interest.

4.10 Abbey International Leopardstown Handicap Chase (Grade A) 2m5f

Timeform Top Rated:
169p 15. SPEAKER CONNOLLY Alan Fleming Donagh Meyler
167 3. LAST GOODBYE Miss Elizabeth Doyle A. W. Short (3)
167 5. ANY SECOND NOW T. M. Walsh M. P. Walsh

Analyst’s Verdict:
Speaker Connolly left his previous form well behind when making a successful handicap bow over fences at this course last time, and with improvement on the cards, could well follow up here. Vieux Morvan, De Name Escapes Me and Cadmium complete the shortlist.

4.40 Coolmore N.H. Sires Irish European Breeders Fund Mares I.N.H. Flat (Deep Run) (Grade 2) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
115 1. REBEL OG W. P. Mullins Mr P. W. Mullins
114 8. TWO SHOE TOM Peter Fahey Mr D. G. Lavery
113+ 4. SANTA ROSSA Dermot Anthony McLoughlin Mr F. Maguire

Analyst’s Verdict:
Despite being sent off long odds, there was no fluke about Santa Rossa‘s strong-travelling debut win at Fairyhouse and she is taken to remain unbeaten. Rebel Og is an obvious threat, while Bigandbeautiful probably needs further but can still make her presence felt.
