12.25 Racing To School Juvenile Hurdle (4) 1m7f156y
Timeform Rating of previous winners: – – – – 141

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gemologist receives all the allowances and stepped up markedly on her opening run over hurdles at this venue when runner-up at Doncaster. She could well be the answer, with Travel Lightly feared most, for all Groveman’s Flat form marks him out as an interesting recruit.

139 6. TRAVEL LIGHTLY Tim Easterby Connor King
137 7. GEMOLOGIST Mark Johnston Brian Hughes

Analyst’s Verdict:
Uno Mas escaped a penalty for last week’s Hereford success and put in another excellent shift when runnerup to an improver at Doncaster. He’s the one to beat if allowed to take his chance. Come On Charlie was fortunate to win at Musselburgh last month but his mark is unchanged and he’s the obvious danger.

1.35 Every Race Live On Racing TV Novices’ Handicap Chase (4) 3m1f54y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Mistress Massini looked one to follow when making a winning handicap chase debut at Ludlow last week and, with the distinct possibility of more to come, she is fancied to follow up. Holy Street may emerge as the chief danger of the trio in opposition.

2.10 EBF ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 2m3f66y
Timeform Rating of previous winners: – – – – 137 Analyst’s Verdict:

Analyst’s Verdict:
The Some Dance Kid is narrowly preferred to Skidoosh with this step up in trip likely to bring about further improvement. He can complete the hat-trick.

2.45 Watt Fences North Yorkshire Grand National Handicap Chase (3) 3m5f214y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sharp Response has acquitted himself well in stronger contests than this of late and, with the step back up in trip expected to suit, he is fancied to defy top weight for the stable that took this race 12 months ago. Donald McCain’s Same Circus is a threat on her Bangor effort, yet the main threat may come in the shape of Greyed A with a reappearance spin at Hereford under his belt.

144 6. GREYED A Dr Richard Newland Sam Twiston-Davies

3.15 Follow @racingtv On Twitter Handicap Hurdle (4) 1m7f156y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Baratineur narrowly failed to land a gamble starting out for a new yard here last week and can gain compensation from the same mark. Flowery is clearly an awkward sort but should go well again up 5 lb after his Sedgefield success. Last year’s winner Steel City and Canadian George also have claims.

3.50 Racing Again 23rd January Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m3f66y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Jimmy Rabbitte had lots to spare when making a winning start for this yard at Taunton recently and can’t be opposed off the same mark. Lester Kris may yet do better given his fairly useful Flat ability and rates the main threat.

131p 4. JIMMY RABBITTE Dr Richard Newland Sam Twiston-Davies

121 3. MIDNIGHT WALK Julia Brooke John Kington
