Newmarket’s July Meeting kicks off today with the highlight being the Princess of Wales’s Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket (15.35).

That one sees last year’s Derby winner Masar out for Charlie Appleby and on around evens for you lumpers out there, with the trainer reporting him to have progressed since his pipeopener at Royal Ascot last month.

Outside of HQ it’s a busy old day with Carlisle, Donny, Epsom & Newbury. There’s quite a few trackers out today…Ziham takes on Sempre Presto in a small field at Carlisle (14.00) for those following them up to five runs, stop at a winner, the former has already won but the latter is on 4th run with no real value about either of the pairing.
