12.25 Lincs Loos ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2¼m140y
Timeform Rating of previous winners: 135 145 149 145 140 (Avg 143)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Seemingly So was a £100,000 purchase after finishing second in a point in February and may have been found a good opening on his debut over hurdles for Olly Murphy. It wasn’t much of a race Dandolo du Gite won at Stratford but he’s open to improvement and is the obvious danger.

Timeform Top Rated:
133p 1. DANDOLO DU GITE Neil Mulholland Noel Fehily
129§ 3. BUACHAILL BEAG Mark Rimell Jamie Moore

12.55 Pertemps Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 2½m139y

Analyst’s Verdict:
A case can be made for most but Keep The River is quickly looking a likeable type having already won a bumper and novice hurdle from just 5 starts and she’s taken to make a successful handicap debut. The unpenalised Ffos Las winner Queen of The Wind has an obvious shout if staying this longer trip. Hillcrest Fire and Martila also have solid claims.

Timeform Top Rated:
128 3. HILLCREST FIRE Stuart Edmunds Ciaran Gethings
127 7. QUEEN OF THE WIND Colin Tizzard Tom Scudamore
126 1. MARTILA Pauline Robson Craig Nichol

1.25 Pertemps Network Group Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (2) 2m7f16y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Perfect Man, like many, has shown marked improvement upon joining Olly Murphy, winning over C&D during the summer prior to a couple of sound enough efforts in defeat. His current mark remains workable on balance and he can come out on top equipped with first-time blinkers. Jersey Bean is improving at a rate of knots though and should be bang there, whilst Townshend also requires a second look.

Timeform Top Rated:
147 7. PERFECT MAN Olly Murphy Fergus Gregory (5)
146 4. CLONDAW NATIVE Stuart Edmunds Ciaran Gethings
145 2. JERSEY BEAN Oliver Sherwood Leighton Aspell

2.00 Pertemps Education Network Chase (Novices’ Limited Handicap) (3) 2m5f89y

Analyst’s Verdict:
The progressive Earlshill was going well when slipping up before 2 out on his chase debut/return at Huntingdon and seems sure to have more to offer in this sphere. He’s chanced over Drovers Lane and Curious Carlos in what looks a good novice event.

Timeform Top Rated:
150p 1. DROVERS LANE Rebecca Curtis A. P. Heskin
149p 8. EARLSHILL Stuart Edmunds Tom O’Brien
148 2. KAYF BLANCO Graeme McPherson Kielan Woods

2.35 FMCG Executive Network Handicap Chase (4) 2m7f191y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Last-time-out winners Love The Leader and Ryalex look the pair to focus on here with the narrow vote in favour of the former. He was impressive when racking up a hurdles/chase hat-trick at Hereford 3 days ago and a 7 lb penalty won’t prevent another bold bid on that evidence. The returning Sands Cove requires close market scrutiny of the remainder.

Timeform Top Rated:
120+ 5. LOVE THE LEADER Johnny Farrelly Robert Dunne
117+ 4. RYALEX Lucinda Russell Stephen Mulqueen (3)
116 3. HARD STATION Richard Bandey Harry Bannister

3.05 Lincs Loos Lady Riders’ Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m148y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Derrynane returns for a yard in good order, and this strong traveller ought to push his rating up this season. Filemon has been shaping well over fences of late and is feared, along with Rockliffe.

Timeform Top Rated:
108 5. DERRYNANE Donald McCain Miss Abbie McCain (7)
107 4. HOPE’S WISHES Barry Brennan Bryony Frost
102 1. HAASAB Laura Morgan Miss Tabitha Worsley (7)

3.40 Pertemps Network Group Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 2m148y
Timeform Rating of previous winners: 117 118 121 112 115 (Avg 117)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Little Jack ran out an emphatic winner on debut at Fontwell in June, and with his good-value conditional off-setting the penalty, it’s pretty easy to envisage him following up. This is a reasonable race though, with newcomers Winningseverything and Johnbb likely types on paper.

Timeform Top Rated:
119 1. LITTLE JACK Warren Greatrex Harry Teal (7)
109p 5. MYSTIC COURT Ben Pauling David Bass
105+ 6. RUTHLESS ARTICLE Rebecca Curtis A. P. Heskin
