Who would have had Donald McCain’s Ubaltique as a first fence faller ? especially with his exceptional Haydock record. However, Sue Smith trained TRESNISH got us out of a hole with a just better than break even day – let’s hope for some stability in the New Year with only a bit of damage done up to Christmas.
For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….we’ve now over a 20% win/place strike rate …..our bank is now £919.84 and current stakes are now £11.50 EW

TRESHNISH went a late non-runner for us last month when should have been on handicap debut. He was then given another nigh on impossible task in further C2 non-handicap following two runs at Carlisle that both threw up decent winners next time out. He looks well enough in on handicap debut down in a C4 and we’ll place a lumping priced WIN ONLY bet at a best 5/2 with bet365. Treshnish wins at 9/4….advised 5/2
