Today’s Racing

2.10 Betfred ‘Supports Jack Berry House’ Stakes (Handicap) (2) 5f

Timeform Top Rated

124 9. SEE THE SUN Tim Easterby David Allan
123 7. ZAC BROWN David Barron Graham Gibbons
121 11. DESERT LAW Paul Midgley Paul Hanagan

Analyst’s Verdict: Course winner See The Sun has youth on his side, and back at 5f with his reappearance behind him, makes plenty of appeal, especially as the reapplication of cheekpieces will likely sharpen him up. Lexington Abbey and last year’s winner Monsieur Joe head the list of dangers.

2.40 Betfred Middleton Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1¼m88y

Timeform Top Rated

130 2. RIBBONS James Fanshawe Tom Queally
129p 4. BRAGGING Sir Michael Stoute Ryan Moore
129 8. SECRET GESTURE Ralph Beckett Andrea Atzeni

Analyst’s Verdict: Preference is for the up-and-coming Bragging, who got her season off to a fine start at Newmarket earlier in the month and can give Sir Michael Stoute a record seventh success in this. Secret Gesture looks a solid option in the place market, with Group-1-winners Ribbons and Madame Chiang both carrying penalties.

We’ve an offer for the two opening races with SKYBET where you can get up to £50 in FREE matched bets and 5 paying places in the first two races………just SIGN UP below!!!!!

3.15 Betfred Dante Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1¼m88y

Timeform Top Rated

131p 1. ELM PARK Andrew Balding Andrea Atzeni
130p 4. JOHN F KENNEDY Aidan O’Brien Ryan Moore
129p 3. JACK HOBBS John Gosden Frankie Dettori

Analyst’s Verdict: Elm Park was the leading staying 2-y-o in Europe in 2014 and may well pick up where he left off, with this extra distance promising to bring out even more improvement. Derby-favourite Jack Hobbs was mightily impressive at Sandown and is the obvious threat, though his stablemate Golden Horn shouldn’t be underestimated.

3.45 Betfred TV Hambleton Stakes (Handicap) (Listed) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated

126 15. YOU’RE FIRED K. R. Burke Graham Lee
125+ 6. LOVING SPIRIT Richard Fahey Paul Hanagan
125 13. FORT BASTION David O’Meara Daniel Tudhope

Analyst’s Verdict: You’re Fired resumed his progress with a fair bit in hand at Ripon last month and remains at the right end of the handicap having been raised only 7 lb. Loving Spirit and Fort Bastion probably have more to offer for current connections and they head the dangers.

4.20 British Stallion Studs EBF Westow Stakes (Listed) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated

127p 10. TENDU John Gosden Frankie Dettori
122 9. BLUE AEGEAN Charlie Appleby William Buick
116 4. LIGHTSCAMERACTION Gay Kelleway Luke Morris

Analyst’s Verdict: Tendu was nicely clear of the rest when finding only smart-prospect Limato too good in Group 3 company at Ascot last month, and ought to make the most of a drop to listed company. Blue Aegean is the key form danger, with Zuhoor Baynoona open to plenty of progress.

4.50 Stratford Place Stud Licence To Thrill EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes (3) 6f

Timeform Top Rated

79p 11. TAWAKKOL Mark Johnston Paul Hanagan
76p 9. SEASTROM Charlie Appleby William Buick

Analyst’s Verdict: The market will undoubtedly help, but Zebadiah, Blue Humor and Munira Eyes are all bred to make sharp 2-y-os, and are preferred in that order in a race that will likely help frame the early juvenile pecking order.

5.20 Investec Private Bank Stakes (Handicap) (3) 2m88y

Timeform Top Rated

105p 6. MOSCATO Sir Mark Prescott Bt Luke Morris
102p 17. STEVE ROGERS Roger Varian Frederik Tylicki
101 11. HIDDEN JUSTICE John Quinn I. J. Brennan

Analyst’s Verdict: Sir Mark Prescott is a past master when it comes to developing stayers andMoscato is a case in point. Indeed, the 4-y-o improved immeasurably when faced with a stiffer test in handicaps last year and looks set for another productive campaign judged on his reappearance victory in an apprentices race at Ascot. He escapes a penalty and should prove too strong for Steve Rogers and Rite To Reign.
