A nice winner to kick off after Christmas with Laura Pearson getting YOU’RE COOL home by a head. It was trainer Derek Shaw’s first winner since March and advised at 7’s, went off at 8/1 🙂

Wolves 17.10
A couple going we have had nibbles at previously. Precious Plum was a no show LTO but we backed YOU’RE COOL on penultimate run over this C&D for a placed effort.
LTO was beaten at Chelmsford back in 5th. However, that was a close up finish where not much separated them behind Indian Pursuit. Back here with four C&D’s to his name should hopefully be back around the slots.
Last won off a mark of 79 when with John Balding but noted when going close in October in a first time visor. His lowest winning rating is 65 and now down on 59.
A common thread today – Luke Morris was booked early for this ride, but Laura Pearson takes over and netting off her claim, a featherweight 52.
There’s a best 7/1 with Hills and general 13/2 across the patch for another half stakes play in this one.
