3.30 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
107p 13. TARNAWA D. K. Weld C. D. Hayes
89p 12. SWEET DIME Mrs J. Harrington T. P. Madden (3)
82p 4. GUINEVERE W. McCreery William James Lee

Analyst’s Verdict:
Tarnawa was talented enough to finish runner-up in listed company on her third and final start last season and she sets a high standard back in a maiden on her reappearance. Heaven On Earth and Invitation boast superb pedigrees and are probably the main dangers, the former presumably the choice of Ryan Moore and that filly also holds a Group 1 entry.

4.00 Mercury Engineering (C & G) Maiden 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
99p 5. GRANDMASTER FLASH Joseph Patrick O’Brien Donnacha O’Brien
98p 16. YONKERS G. M. Lyons C. T. Keane
89p 3. CONOR HOGAN G. M. Lyons G. F. Carroll

Analyst’s Verdict:
Yonkers improved with each outing last term, unlucky to bump in to an above-average Ballydoyle in-mate when runner-up over 1m at the Curragh in August. The step up in trip will hold no fears here and he is fancied to go well on return. Grandmaster Flash and Aidan O’Brien newcomer King Pellinor are also considered in a race that should throw up plenty of future winners.

4.30 Base Wood Fired Pizza Handicap 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
91 11. BERCASA Thomas Mullins N. G. McCullagh
89 1. TIRMIZI M. Halford R. P. Whelan
89 3. ONLYHUMAN Mrs J. Harrington Shane Foley

Analyst’s Verdict:
Latchet produced a career-best effort when runner-up at Dundalk 12 days and given she’s unexposed over this trip, is expected to be bang there from just 1 lb higher. Bercasa made a pleasing start to her hurdles career last month and is second choice, with Tirmizi another to consider.

5.00 Spin 1038 Heritage Stakes (Listed) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
125 9. VERBAL DEXTERITY J. S. Bolger K. J. Manning
124 5. PSYCHEDELIC FUNK G. M. Lyons C. T. Keane
117 10. SURROUNDING M. Halford R. P. Whelan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Amedeo Modigliani did more than enough to suggest that he’s up to winning at this level on his return at Naas 10 days ago. Verbal Dexterity and Psychedelic Funk are both capable of making their presence felt if ready to roll.

5.30 JJ Kavanagh & Sons Fillies Maiden 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
92p 14. SONAIYLA M. Halford R. P. Whelan
91p 10. LOVEE DOVEE Joseph Patrick O’Brien S. M. Crosse (5)
91p 18. WOODY CREEK J. A. Stack C. D. Hayes

Analyst’s Verdict:
Magic Fountain holds an entry in the 1000 Guineas and is selected to make a winning debut under Ryan Moore, with confidence increased should the market speak in her favour. Lovee Dovee and Sonaiyla should have more to offer on the back of placed efforts last time, while Acapella Blu and selection’s stablemate Dress are other newcomers who appeal on paper.

6.00 Leopardstown Summer Pass Handicap 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
91 6. MADAM SEAMSTRESS J. S. Bolger K. J. Manning
90 1. I AM SUPERMAN M. D. O’Callaghan L. F. Roche
90 18. GOLD JASMINE K. J. Condon N. G. McCullagh

Analyst’s Verdict:
Madam Seamstress made a successful handicap debut at Navan last week and a 6 lb penalty for that may not prevent the follow up. Scotts Honor appeals as the type to do better now handicapping for his new yard, with I Am Superman and Merricourt others of interest.

6.30 Bulmers Live At Leopardstown Handicap 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
93 16. GLOBAL PASS Richard John O’Brien C. D. Hayes
92 11. TAMMY WYNETTE W. McCreery William James Lee
91+ 19. MIDNITEMUDCRABS J. J. Feane Reserve

Analyst’s Verdict:
Encantador ended last season with a couple of excellent runner-up efforts in maidens and ran well on her only start in handicaps in September. She tops the shortlist ahead of Tammy Wynette, Global Pass and Reverberation.
