Horse Racing Selections – 27th April 2021

There’s action on the turf from Ayr, Brighton, Yarmouth and Nottingham. The sole all weather card comes from Lingfield.

Aside from Ayr, the cards on the grass are again a tad undersubscribed and we will look outside of those for today’s selection. There’s one for Lingfield early evening who we backed LTO.

I know I’m sounding like an old record but April is proving a real scratchy month 🙁 Looking at the 4yo+ handicaps as we do, there’s been very little in the way of 10+ field sizes in either code. Tomorrow looks little better with just one at each of Brighton & Chelmsford to consider 🙁

Roll on May when hopefully there’ll be a few more venturing out!

Back in the morning just before 8.30 am.

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1056.86 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.21 EW

The All Weather bank currently standing at +147 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

  1. I got stung by hills today, slightly better odds over some of the others and 4 places offered – places cut to 3rd due to non runners.. Absolute sharks – BF, Sky, BV all paying out 4 places!!

  2. Same here Chris.
Looks like Sky were the best in hindsight – 8 runners would still have been okay.
Paddy Power still paid with 11 but down to 10 they would have paid 3 places.

  3. Shysters 🥺

  4. I also got stung by Hills so i have done a live chat with them ,they said that the bet stands but as a goodwill gesture they have given me a free ten pound bet,so you could git it a try.
