Tuesday’s flat racing on the turf comes from Ripon and Epsom.

Not well populated in terms of field sizes. At the former (15.05) we have backed I am A Dreamer three times so far with 2 bits of place shrapnel. It’s not inviting lumping odds in a competitive contest where there looks to be plenty of pace on in a 2 paying 7 runner.

At Epsom, a sole tracker goes in the (15.25) with Andrew Balding’s Spirit Power. A talented 3yo who seemed to lose his way after winning a soft 5 runner at Windsor and hiked into the 90’s. He was our final AW bet of the season for a no show. Now has dropped significantly and 23 lb since running in a C3 at Chester. Best run to date this season was at Brighton in this grade. From 3 less should be competitive on a similar undulating track, however wipes yer face 5’s is all on offer with Oisin Murphy up top.

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +31.1 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 35% win/place rate. 

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
