Midweek racing on the flat from Beverley, Sandown and Yarmouth.

Nothing from the latter, but three decent handicaps across the others to consider.

Selection for today is below and back in the morning around 8.30 am

 

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1114.30 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.93 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +45.26 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate. 

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

    Down to just 5 runners Chris. They had 19mm of rain up to 1.30 pm yesterday at Sandown. I start pairing back my bets at this time of year. One of the services i use stops from end of September to Badger ales day. The last two weeks in September hit this service hard in 2019 so i stop using it after Donny festival. You will see some funky results on the flat turf up to the November handicap…. You have to watch the markets at this time of year and it is possibly your best guide imo. I prefer to leave alone bar from the old mooses from Gary who have no idea what time of year it is but will decide when they get up whether they fancy it or not. Over to you Gary.

    Thanks Ian,

    Coincidentally our season seemed to come of the rails after The Daley Express won in September last year. 2019 we had a crap late August/early September but finished the month off well. October has generally been a wash out, period 🙁 and I still need to get to grips with October on the AW. Hence I have already got stuck into AW trackers to hopefully smooth out the change over into the sand goggles 🙂
