Horse Racing Selections – 30th September 2022

There’s just another single meet from Ascot today.

Not really fancying that opening race Class 3 amateurs  🙁

Will take a day off and reconvene with Redcar on the weekend. No doubt we will have a butchers at the Racing TV Straight-Mile Series Final Handicap 🙂

  1. October tomorrow which sees me cutting back my stakes on the grass flat. It’s been a good season for ABW with over 80 pts profit. Stables running tired horses with a view to picking up some corn for the winter months. The results go funky with punters scratching their heads as to how that won. Take a look at the Nottingham results earlier this week and you might get my gist.
The cat litter is not for me. However, a way into that game might be to closely watch the markets.I still think they are generally the ultra moose that run over the winter on that surface so i will concentrate on the proper racing when it’s Badger Ales day up to Aintree in April.
I will pay my subs over the winter (have i morphed into Peter) and dip in now and again to see how things are going. Have a good autumn/winter everybody. The millers still haven’t got a manager after a third division manager turned us down!!!. You can get 9/2 for the millers to go down. What a price that is. Stay safe.

  2. Don’t steal Matt Taylor Ian!!

  3. He is one mentioned Grecianite. Doing well for you and probably at a club with more ambition than us so don’t think he would want to come. I have a feeling we will give the job in house to possibly Richard Wood with a director of Football who has experience.

    • You can have Paul Tisdale as Director of Football. I genuinely think he’d be great in that position and unlike most grecians would have him back in a heartbeats
