Bang in form Hayley Turner gets our turf season up and running on BERNARDO O’REILLY 🙂

A cracking ride pouncing late on from off the pace early was a slight drifter on morning prices.

Returned a health 16/1 for those of you with BOG at late times.

 

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1134.15 with current full stakes at £14.18 EW with over a 55% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +12.2 pts to 1pt EW stakes with a 55% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

 

Newbury 14.05

A cracking Class 3 and a few trackers out.

One we have backed already is Heather Main’s Marshal Dan.

Arrives fit from that placed effort at Redcar and is again on at better than wipes yer prices and should go close well drawn 1.

Does go well here winning last October. However yet to win above that 85 ceiling may just be vulnerable for win purposes with majority of wins at 7f.

Siding with another who arrives with a previous outing under the belt in Richard Spencer’s charge BENARDO O’REILLY.

They met H2H in that autumn Newbury race last year when the former ran out a 2l winner.

However the selection in now 9lb better in today and, while most wins have been post summer, was an early scorer last season from an identical mark.

Was right at it towards the end of last season in one of our favourite meets when landing an eye-catching 3rd in the C2 Ayr Silver Cup after hitting traffic.

Class 3 is more his boat and mid 80’s a fair mark to build on that seasonal blow out.

Was probably the best of the high drawn finishers that day and, while needs a tad of luck as a hold up, the price does appeal.

Hayley Turner does the steering and on at a slightly drifting 14’s with bet365 though a more general 12’s with enhanced 5 paying slots
