Decent Saturday returns from our two Saturday Chelmsford all weather selections 🙂

Daniel Muscutt had CARIAD in position on the outside at the turn and put the race to bed very easily when hitting the front. Looked to be eased down at the finish, 3 lengths clear, and likely to be lumping prices next time out.

Our second selection Conquest Of Power ran up a closing 2nd and will look again at Mark Usher’s charge again.

2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge bank stands at £1340.55 with current full stakes at £16.76 EW with over a 39% win/place rate.

2023 Turf bank ended at +37.9pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 38% win/place rate.

2023/4 AW bank stands at +6.1 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 25% win/place rate.

Chelmsford 16.00

A old time tracker going in Red Walls. Lisa Williams charge seems to be getting some form back and a decent trap 1 draw to go from.

However does have Kitbag to contend with and has been worried out of it from the front in the past.

Going to look to CONQUEST OF POWER to give it a decent go for Mark Usher. Generally runs held up but has winning form running up with the pace and drawn 3 to track the likes of Red Walls.

Tentatively the class horse of the race having an opening mark of 74 after a nursery win. Limited 2-0-1 on the AW albeit recorded a decent RPR 69 here over the 5f LTO with a running on 2nd.

Should be able to build on that for regular claimer Aiden Keeley. Yard going well enough 7-0-4 last 10 days and looks the best of their two runners today.

On at 15/2 with regulation THREE paying places this morning.

Short priced favourite in Mitigator on the back of that run here LTO. Has started out well for his new yard, however will oppose with one of the 3yo’s.

Kodi Noir has inched the ratings and opposable at wipes yer face so will side with George Scott’s CARIAD.

Drops in grade today from last weeks 0-68 where he missed the break and later hampered in running.

Prior run over the 7f here ran on well to be just a length down in 5th. Nemorum finished 4th in that one to frank the form. Did so in making all the running from a high draw to buck the usual trend here.

Our selected ran well enough in nurseries at Wolves last year and this 0-58 the lowest she has run in since then.

Yard in decent form and gets a decent draw to go forward if breaking level under the Muskrat.
